The Benefits Of Work-Integrated

Qualitative study of the benefits of work-integrated learning. Objectives and Research Questions: Students are required to clearly articulate key literature sources discussing the benefits of work-integrated learning. This must include a literature review of relevant and credible sources that examine the benefits of work-integrated learning. The literature review should be between 350-500 words long and draw on a minimum of six (6) peer-reviewed journal articles to support the arguments and points made. Peer-reviewed journal articles must be sourced from either the Griffith University Library databases or Google Scholar. Students should clearly list the research questions that their analysis will answer. These questions should logically flow from the literature reviewed. More details will be provided in the workshops about these questions. Research Methods; Students are required to describe the research methods used in the study (i.e., qualitative methods and the method of analysis). Important aspects of the methods section includeThe qualitative method (i.e., the definition of qualitative methods);Method of data collection and description of respondents;Analysis (i.e., the processes that students followed to extract meaning from the data, e.g., coding). Discussion of Benefits – Results; Students is required to present a ‘realistic report’ of the data analysis (see the lecture and workshop notes), which specifically examines the benefits of work-integrated learning. This should include a rich description of the main themes emerging from the data and draw on key quotes taken from the qualitative data file provided to all students students should highlight and discuss the benefits of work-integrated learning. Present in several sentences the general conclusions of your analysis. The conclusion should not just repeat the analysis. Instead, it should neatly tie together the key elements of the report and clarify key points to the reader. A brief comparison of the key findings of the current study to what was discussed in the literature review must also be included.
