Scenario 1 Tiffany believes that if you show up on time and meet your job responsibilities you should receive a raise.  Tiffany is always on time and always meets her obligations.  At the end of the year, Tiffany does not receive a raise.  She is angry and confronts her supervisor stating that the system is unfair.  Is Tiffany right?  Explain why or why not.  In your answer be sure you explain the logic of the argument as well as evaluating its application.  Scenario 2 Hannah is the hiring manager for 123 Accounting firm.  She informs all job candidates that 123 Accounting would like to review candidates’ social media as a part of their hiring practice.  She explains that candidates may decline, but if they do it may impact their chances to receive a position.  Brian does not want to have his social media reviewed but he does want the job.  Should Brian allow 123 Accounting access to his social media? In your answer be sure you explain the logic of the argument as well as evaluating its application.  Scenario 3 Mary has lost her job and doesn’t have enough money to pay rent.  Mary asks her landlord if she can have a two-week extension while she looks for work.  Her landlord says that she would like to help Mary out, but if she doesn’t hold her to the deadline this month she believes Mary will only ask for more time in two weeks and fall even further behind.  The landlord explains that whenever she has given an extension to tenants in the past this is always what happens.  Evaluate the landlord’s response to Mary’s request.
